Remind - Communicate with Students and Families!

Kids have cell phones. Parents have cell phones. Let's put them to work. :-)
Today I am highlighting a great FREE tool that will allow you to send mass text messages without giving students and parents your personal number. Instructions for you are below, and instructions for parent/student sign-up are created for each class you want to include - all you have to do is download and print. :-)

It's a quick and easy setup - click the blue Teacher sign up button

If you have setup your email you can click the Google button at the bottom, otherwise, fill in the fields and click the Complete sign up button

** If you click the Google button you will need to click the Accept button to allow Remind access to your Google account

Next, set up your first class by filling in the name and clicking Save class and add students

Then you will see the Instructions for students and parents to join this list - you can display this for your group, or use the downloadable instructions (to send home, etc) from the next screen

Click the X in the upper right corner to close the instructions and you will see the dashboard for your class(es)

From here you can add more classes, send or schedule a message, view the messages sent or scheduled, view or download/print the instructions for parents and students, see your class info, and see who is subscribed.

This is a great tool for keeping in touch with students and parents.
