This week a great tip for making Chrome more convenient...

Have you ever accidentally closed a tab you meant to keep open? Check this out. :-)

Tabbed browsing was covered in an earlier blog post, but here is a cool "add-on" for using your tabs.
Pinned Tabs!

If you would like to keep your email (new or old) open in a tab on your browser this tip is for you.
I use the new email system, but this would work for either email system.
Open the Chrome web browser
Navigate to the email account you use
Old - http://mail.pcs.k12.mi.us
New - http://mail.pinckneypirates.org


Next right-click/control-click/two-finger-click on the tab and select the Pin Tab option


Notice the tab is now smaller and doesn't have a "close" option (x)
